Shea completed her massage therapy training at MaKami College in 2014 with over 2200 hours of education and is an active member of Massage Therapist Association of Alberta. Shea is extremely passionate about this career and has been ever since treating her first few clients at Makami College.
She finds great satisfaction in helping people with serious conditions such as chronic neck and back pain, sciatica and many other conditions. She has a wide range of techniques, but she mostly works with myofascial tissue manipulation and trigger point therapy. Pressure is of course customized for each individual client and Shea encourages all clients to inform her of any new health concerns or specific requests, such as relaxation or pre/post-natal care (etc.).
Shea believes that regular massage therapy, along with at home care gives the client the greatest potential to reach their goal, while not just giving them one day, but potential weeks of relief. Shea continues her education to expand her knowledge and refine her techniques to make sure that every client gets the individual attention they need.
