COVID-19 INFORMATION FOR CLIENTS
CLIENT UPDATE: OCTOBER 19, 2022
Just a quick update about masking requirements in our clinic space. We are changing our protocols to make it optional for clients/staff to wear masks. This change will be official on MONDAY OCT 24th. As we are transitioning out of pandemic practice guidelines, we feel this is now appropriate for our workspace. However, we will continue to support clients who feel more comfortable wearing a mask during treatment. If you prefer to wear a mask, we are with you 100% and we will also wear a mask for the duration of your treatment.
There will be times when your therapist will be required to wear a mask. For example, if they have a household member who is sick with a respiratory illness, they will wear a mask at work to protect those around them. Also, if a client (or someone in their household) is immunocompromised (i.e. due to autoimmune disease, cancer treatment, or anti-rejection medication for an organ transplant, etc), masks will still be a routine precaution for those clients and their therapist in order to protect client health.
We will continue to monitor the progress of the COVID situation, as well as government and industry regulations, and will update our policies as necessary in the future.
As health professionals, we will continue to maintain best practices for routine IPC measures, including:
