Kirsty Ward, BSc, RMT
Kirsty graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy with honours in 2007 and is a member of the Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). She has always had an interest in science, first completing a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Zoology at the University of Alberta. This combined with her love of health and wellness led her to pursue her career in massage therapy.
Kirsty specializes in deep tissue and relaxation massage and practices with a slow, deep technique which provides excellent release with a relaxing experience. She understands that all bodies are unique and uses her knowledge and intuitive treatment style to meet the needs of each client. She incorporates techniques such as neuromuscular therapy, trigger point therapy, passive stretching and myofascial cupping into her treatments as needed for therapeutic effect. She is experienced in treating a variety of conditions such as neck pain, postural issues, sciatica, and low back pain.
In her spare time Kirsty volunteers with a Doberman rescue and enjoys running, yoga and meditation.
